Nicole J. Merritt is a North Carolina licensed Attorney.

Nicole J. Merritt is the Founder and sole Attorney at Merritt Law, PLLC. Nicole was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Concord, North Carolina in 2011.

Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law in December 2014 and went on to earn her license to practice law in North Carolina in 2015.

Nicole is a proud alumni of Lenoir Rhyne University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Nicole loves to make clients feel welcomed and at home when they come to the office. She prides herself in timely communication and a pleasant attitude.

Nicole enjoys practicing law, but her true passion is cat rescue. Nicole and her fiancé have rescued over 15 stray cats in the last couple years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, four wheeling, and hanging out with friends!

Heide Eide began working part-time for Merritt Law, PLLC in February of 2017 as an Administrative Assistant and was hired full-time in July of 2017. She is responsible for gathering all the buyer, seller and property information needed to prepare the closing documents.

Prior to that she was self-employed, operating an online sales business. Heide is from Minnesota, where she was the office manager of her family’s plumbing, heating and pump service business for 14 years. While she doesn’t have a background in law, she enjoys the challenges and rewards of assisting Nicole in her law practice.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 grown children, trips to the beach, riding her Harley Deluxe and home decorating.

Abigail Edblom is the Receptionist at Merritt Law, PLLC. She graduated from Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, NC in the Spring of 2018. She moved to the Concord area in June of 2018 and began working at Merritt Law, PLLC in September 2018. As the newest member of the growing firm, Abigail is a welcome addition. She is the first face you’ll see when you visit our office and likely the first person you’ll speak to when you call. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, family and friends.
